Happy Valentine's Day!

This will be the "All About Caleb" blog...

So, West Valley Hockey comes to a close.
It has been an AMAZING run for these boys,
many of which have been skating together since they were seven.

West Valley faces off during the MAC conference championship game
Caleb (center) Gabe (right wing) Stoshie (left wing)

These three were pretty fierce when they were out together.

Happy boys with their plaque.
The medals around their neck signify that they were selected for the All-Conference Team.
A pretty cool honor.

So proud of this boy!

The three musketeers again!

The seniors.
Their last year together, then it's off to bigger and better things!

The State Tournament...
We get to Wasilla and play Eagle River for the first game. We've beaten them before no problem, but this day was different. 2-1 loss. Boys were quite devastated. They had an amazing year and really thought this would be the time for a first place trophy. Eagle River would go on to lose 2 straight games and finish behind us, but losing to them was all it took to dash the hopes of the glory. On to the losers bracket we go. Two ridiculous wins later and we secure 4th place. No one cares about 4th place, but the boys got to have so much fun on the ice and rack up some personal points.

Three musketeers one last time...

A fine finish!

Showing off the big "4"

Goofy boys :)
Sure am going to miss watching them play this game they love for the school they love.

On a side note:
Caleb went on to lead his team in assists and total points.
He is also the current West Valley school record holder for:
Leading assists in a season - 54
Leading points in a season - 73
He's also in the top 10 for Career points and Career assists

What's really cool is that Caleb, Gabe and Stoshie (all on the same team and all seniors) broke almost every school record. That's quite an achievement.

We now switch gears and continue on with his Arctic Lion Comp team and see how that pans out.

Next Blog will probably be Spring Break in March.
AL Hockey will be over and Emily will be in Paris!

Love you all!
